At this moment, White leads the Class 1A ranks in total offensive yards while producing 20 touchdowns total, both through the air passing and on the ground. The Raiders senior offensive playmaker has been difficult to stop this year due to his speed, vision and overall football smarts that allows him to handle the quarterback role for his Moore Co. team. Others are certainly in contention along with White but I don't see anybody bypassing him for top honors this year as I foresee this Mid-TN talent continuing to run around and over teams, putting up monster numbers. u003c/spanu003e","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6509c953a856c"} /-->
Other Candidates: Luke Treece - Coalfield, Ben Franklin - Cornersville, [player_tooltip player_id='301360' first='Kamden' last='Wellington'] - South Pitt, [player_tooltip player_id='480919' first='Bennett' last='McDougal'] - Whitwell, [player_tooltip player_id='466232' first='Jayden' last='Milton'] - West Carroll, [player_tooltip player_id='207328' first='Kumaro' last='Brown'] - M.A.S.E., Cameron Schlicht - Dresden

- - - - - - - - - -

Class 2A

Other Candidates: [player_tooltip player_id='398082' first='Drake' last='Fisher'] - Sullivan-East, [player_tooltip player_id='207322' first='Carter' last='Smith'] - Hardin Co., [player_tooltip player_id='1019867' first='Nick' last='Osmun'] - Stone Memorial, [player_tooltip player_id='811032' first='Javion' last='Kinnard'] - Pearl Cohn, [player_tooltip player_id='1200996' first='Jacob' last='Saunders'] - Hardin Co., [player_tooltip player_id='1467544' first='Jody' last='Scruggs'] - Carter, [player_tooltip player_id='1102967' first='Tripp' last='Pinion'] - White Co., [player_tooltip player_id='466233' first='Camarion' last='Miller'] - Haywood, [player_tooltip player_id='829084' first='Deuce' last='Greenhill'] - Crockett Co., [player_tooltip player_id='533747' first='Ethan' last='Palk'] - Upperman, [player_tooltip player_id='207308' first='Clayton' last='Harris'] - Upperman, [player_tooltip player_id='149385' first='Mason' last='Ball'] - Elizabethton, [player_tooltip player_id='1041730' first='Tyler' last='Cross'] - Sullivan-East, [player_tooltip player_id='1310950' first='Gabe' last='Borders'] - Macon Co., [player_tooltip player_id='600028' first='Kamron' last='Haymon'] - Hardin Co.

- - - - - - - - - -

Class 5A
<!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["402556"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"u003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eOne of the toughest classifications to predict, Class 5A presents tons of options for Mid-Season Mr. Football but after looking through all the contenders, Perkins stands out as the top guy. The Jaguars sophomore signal caller has been outstanding through the first five games of the 2023 season. He is accurate, efficient, dynamic and athletic along with showing poise beyond his years. Perkins has been near flawless leading his Southwind team to a current 5-0 start along with being the leader in the clubhouse to win their region title. The Commanders senior playmaker has rushed the ball 115 times for 1,209 yards and 22 touchdowns, all being done in five games. Wolcott has been the bell cow back for the FCS offense this season and I don't see that changing as we move forward. So far through five games, Roberts has been on a different level, playing the best football yet during his high school career, showing improved arm strength and pocket awareness. He is as steady as they come at quarterback in this state and so far on the season, the future Vanderbilt Commodore has played efficient football, leading his Red Raiders team to a 4-1 start. Muschamp has a bevy of weapons to throw to, so I expect his numbers to inflate further as the year goes along as well as place his team in the mix for back to back D2-Class AAA state titles.
