One of the biggest risers within our senior rankings is this Murfreesboro area two-way talent that is headed to Michigan St. to play in the Spartans secondary and with the kind of athleticism that Williams sports, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him on a college field sooner than later. Dynamic with natural playmaking abilities, Williams went hard this year to establish himself as one of the better athletes in the state and he did just that by dominating both sides of the ball this season. Williams is a quick twitch athlete with great instincts, which makes him an excellent ball hawk prospect for the college game. He has enough speed to compete at cornerback if needed but I feel his best position on the next level will be safety and it could be at free or strong. More maturing must take place for this Warriors product to become he I and others think he can be but the potential and upside is certainly there!

This may be the prospect on this list that has taken the biggest steps towards becoming a true D1, Power Five guy as Williams has been sensational, making plays on both sides of the ball and displaying game changing abilities on a consistent basis. The Warriors senior two-way talent has displayed an increase in “want to” so far this season and you can tell by how he plays. Williams is a playmaker at receiver with breakaway speed but he is also a hard hitter on defense who plays sideline to sideline. He continues to show upside for either side of the ball but with how he shows speed and violence on defense, playing in the secondary is where I like him best. Either way, Williams has proven to me he is legit and someone to watch over the coming months to see his stock soar.

Williams has excellent ball tracking skills and good vision to create after the catch. He has a quick release and a developed release package to handle various coverages. Williams battles through contact early in the route. There’s some shiftiness to his game, which combines with his ability to break arm tackles to create a legitimate YAC threat. Williams excels on short to intermediate routes but can stretch the field vertically.
