Well built physically with good pocket mobility, Hicks displayed those skills and then some multiple times this summer but the biggest trait that stood out the most to me was his arm strength. This Chattanooga area signal caller showed excellent power out of his right arm during the camp circuit this summer while also displaying improved accuracy and timing. Hicks is also a good athlete that handles the pocket, so he brings not just arm talent to the field but mobility as well. This season will be the 1st time Hicks is under center as the full time guy and based off his summer performances, I expect this Buccaneers product to not only impress but establish himself as one of the best at his position from the East Tennessee region.

is 6’1″ 195 pounds quarterback out of Boyd Buchanan High School. He displays good timing and rhythm in his drops with anticipation on his throws. Hicks shows very good accuracy to make tight window and layered throws down the field. Good processing of coverages, he understands where to go with the ball based on leverage. After watching the film, he is very comfortable out of play action with good footwork and timing.
