One of the best natural athletes from the Class 2A ranks, Mason put together a strong senior campaign that has trickled into the playoffs where this Memphis area product has taken his game to another level. The Bulldogs senior prospect is a two way talent that could develop on either side of the ball but I feel like his best upside resides at defensive back. Mason has flashed tremendous man coverage along with range and speed throughout the playoffs thus far that I expect to continue this coming Friday in the Semifinals. Junior College may be the destination for Mason to begin his college career but if he continues to develop both on and off the field, you could see this name in the D1 ranks one day.

Many people may not know too much about this Memphis area running back but Mason is a ball player that has athletic traits and speed that translate well to the college game. He has taken his game to another level so far through three games where the Bulldogs running back sits within the Top 5 rushers currently from the greater Memphis area. Mason is a well compact runner with a nice balance of strength and speed. He has the ability to make one cut and be gone while also having the skills to catch the ball out of the backfield too. This West Tennessee is talented enough to develop at defensive back as well if needed. Mason is currently under the radar but if he continues to play at the level he is, college coaches will have to start paying attention to him.
