, an athlete at Cleveland High School. In addition to outstanding size and speed, what impresses me about Szymborski is his ability to read the offense like a book and disrupt the passing game down the stretch. I also like Szymborski’s ability to attack the ball in the air and haul in interceptions. Szymborski also stands out in the pocket, proving he can both apply pressure and sack the quarterback. It was no surprise that Szymborski left Murfreesboro as the linebacker MVP.

One of the biggest names in attendance, Szymborski lived up to the hype in multiple ways but it was his work during positional drills that for me, took his stock to another level. Last year for Cleveland, Szymborski played both ways but he specifically performed at linebacker in Murfreesboro to further show his upside for the defensive side of the ball and I believe he helped his cause tremendously. Szymborski was the best overall tester for the linebackers during that portion of the camp while also being one of the best during positional work where he showed off his excellent instincts and closing speed. Well built physically, Szymborski is also a stud on the wrestling map, so he brings balance, toughness and untapped potential to the football field that is starting to grow into a bonafide middle linebacker college prospect.

Szymborski was one of the top names from the defensive side of the ball headed into camp and the East TN talent definitely lived up to the hype. The 6’2 rising senior displayed excellent work from the testing portion of the combine all the way into drill work and 1 on 1’s where Szymborski showed off his upside as a potential D1 prospect. He had solid test scores but it was his work during positional drills and competition against the running backs that earned him linebacker MVP honors. Szymborski is already flirting with some P5, D1 and FCS schools and I only expect that interest to build over the offseason as this #TN2025 linebacker continues to turn heads.

put on a show in week 5 against Rhea County with a ridiculous stay line of 6 receptions, 127 yards and 2 TD’s. On defense he had 8 tackles, 1 interception, with 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble return for a touchdown. He shows great explosiveness with the ball in his hands with a very good feel in space. Good at the catch point, he shows nice body control and attacks the ball at its highest point. On defense, he showed great mental processing on his interception and reading run concepts with AA to avoid blocks.

showed amazing versatility in this game with his play on both sides of the ball. On offense he scored 2 touchdowns where he showcased very good balance and play strength with the ball in his hands to fight for the endzone on the 1st score. The 2nd touchdown he showed solid separation ability working vertically and nice tracking to come back to the ball and score. On defense, he finished with a nice sack with a quality motor to get to the QB. His run blocking technique, hand usage and effort also stood out.

A natural athlete with exceptional strength and physicality, Szymborski is a name to know now as he has the upside to become a much wanted recruit that has tools to be developed on either side of the ball. A state champion wrestler, Szymborski is a physical beast that has the look of a college guy that is still developing on the football field and coming into his own. The Blue Raiders junior should be used this season at both tight end and edge linebacker and defense could be his calling card when it comes to reaching the college level. Szymborski shows excellent burst and the ability to play in space while also having the upside to rush the backfield. He can also run good routes on offense while having the ability to become a stud blocker. There are a ton of tools within this East Tennessee product that can be developed into a legit college recruit.
