It doesn’t matter what level of high school ball this guy runs on, he is legit with his best football ahead of him. Groves brings nice size to the field along with breakaway speed that plays well on the Power Four and his offer list dictates that. This Mid-TN product is a big back that can run through the middle or bounce it to the outside and create separation due to his speed. Groves is also an excellent receiver out of the backfield that has yet to put that trait on full display but trust me, the ability is there. He, like everybody else, has to continue working on his craft while staying at it in the weight room but top level potential resides with the Indians star running back.

The Indians running back was already a known name coming into the 2023 season but he took his stock to another level this year by running for over 3,000 yards and 30 touchdowns as a junior. Groves was the offensive dynamo that the Indians staff knew he would be and he and his teammates almost led East Robertson to their 1st ever football state championship but came up just short against Riverside. It was an outstanding season from Groves and a big one for his recruiting stock as he has certainly placed himself as one of the top running backs in the state for the #TN2025 class. He is also a Mr. Football finalist this season and I would expect him to be a top contender again next season.
