The Wildcats senior prospect brings a multi talented skill set to the playing field as Dozier can be your bulldozer or he can run around defenders using his speed. Once he gets into the open field, this Knoxville area runner is hard to bring down due to his strength and speed. Dozier also has the upside to develop much further in college with both his pass catching and blocking. There are a lot things about this East Tennessee back that I like and feel translates well to the college game, so it’s all about a college coaching staff falling in love with this guy and bringing him in to compete.

De’Jauvis Dozier De’Jauvis Dozier 5'10" | 200 lbs | RB Oak Ridge | 2024 State TN is a stud running back for Oak Ridge High School. He possesses great burst and vision to hit the hole. His traits standout right away on the film and he displays all the skill you look for in an RB. Very good footwork, Dozier runs with low pad level and makes great cuts. His contact balance and play strength allow him to break tackles and make big plays for his offense.

Buzz had already been building for Dozier going into the Fall season and he is backing it up as this East TN back has rushed for over 600 yards thus far while also being a key playmaker on offense for a current 5-1 Oak Ridge squad. If my scouting is on point, Dozier should become one of the more sought after offensive recruits over the next few months as this 5’10 back can play and I think his best football is ahead of him. The Wildcats senior back is strong and well balanced with quick feet and excellent vision. Dozier also leans out when he runs, so he is always falling forward when taking on contact. He runs with good pad level and bounces off tackles with superb contact balance. Speed is not the biggest strength to his game but the rest of his athletic traits are top notch. Quality burst and twitchy movements, Dozier excels at the second level with good lateral cuts and elusiveness in the open field. I expect Dozier to make some noise his senior year and will start garnering more interest soon.
