You can tell by watching Tarleton’s senior clips that he took his off-season development seriously as it’s translating over to the field this Fall. He is decisive, poised and sharp in the pocket with his demeanor and throwing motion. Tarleton has sharpened up his mechanics, which in turn has increased his arm strength and became more accurate. What I’m liking the most about this Nashville area passer is his comfortability with the offense he is running and leadership he brings to the table. Tarleton has definitely taken a step up with his game, which I believe makes him a legit FCS prospect that could see a spike in his recruitment before it’s all said and done. Sr Improvement: Tarleton has made some of the best improvements of all QB’s from the #TN2024 class. He has vastly improved his feel for the game, especially within the pocket where on film he shows comfort, poise and command. The Firebirds senior prospect has also developed further his ability to read the defense and make a decisive throw. The leader of the current #PRZTN #2 team in the state, Tarleton is playing his best football yet throughout his high school career and this gunslinging senior could not only leave this season as the Mr. Football winner but possibly lead his Firebirds team to a Class 4A state championship as well. Pearl Cohn is playing some big time football right now, beating quality opponents and looking good while doing so. Tarleton is the leader of this Firebirds machine and while he may not put up big numbers on a weekly basis, he doesn’t turn the ball over and he leads his team to victories. He will continue to receive stiff competition but I believe in the end, Tarleton will be your 4A Mr. Football winner.

Incredibly productive QB. Patient in the pocket, buys time for receivers, and displays a sense of timing on throws. Effectively sets up screen passes and delivers a catchable ball.

Knows where receivers are on the field, locates the open target, and doesn’t have receivers waiting for the ball to arrive. Sells the ball fake, uses all his targets, and spreads passes around. Does an outstanding job reading the defense and is in control of the situation.
