This was a tough selection to make at this time as I think several prospects are in top contention right now for Mr. Football but I think in the end, Muschamp will come away as the winner. He is as steady as they come at quarterback in this state and so far on the season, the future Vanderbilt Commodore has played efficient football, leading his Red Raiders team to a 4-1 start. Muschamp has a bevy of weapons to throw to, so I expect his numbers to inflate further as the year goes along as well as place his team in the mix for back to back D2-Class AAA state titles. Much can change over the coming weeks but as of Mid-September, Muschamp looks to be your MVP and future Mr. Football winner.

Coming off winning a state title as a junior, Muschamp has been one of hottest recruited QB prospects over the past few months until recently when he took himself off the board by pledging to the Vanderbilt Commodores. A big reason for Muschamp’s ascension is his feel for the game and simple understanding on how to lead his team to victories. This guy is a winner that doesn’t blink under pressure and has a knack for making plays at the biggest moments. That kind of moxy can play over real well at Vandy and inside the Southeastern Conference.
