Key Lewis Jr. is just a freshman, but he is already making a name for himself across the state. He’s gotten some playing time in Baylor’s first two games, where he has impressed everybody around him.

As a young buck, he offers great size. The 2030 prospect stands 6-foot-6 and weighs 260 pounds with a lean, athletic frame. He may turn into an interior defensive lineman, but I think he could be a terrific edge rusher.

He’s highly athletic, gets off the ball well, is excellent at shedding blocks, offers pass-rush upside and has elite potential as a run stuffer.

Key Lewis Jr. already has the physical makeup of a future high-level recruit and will be a prospect to know at The Baylor School over the next four years.

He has an elite frame for a young player, standing around 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds entering his freshman season.

He holds natural power that comes with the frame, but does not sacrifice any ounce of natural athleticism, giving him the upside to win along the entire defensive line right now.

He shined in the scrimmage against Buford, winning from the interior against older players and on the edge against younger players. He is a player that has the ability to make an instant impact against a loaded schedule.

As he continues to round out his game and grow into his frame, he has the potential to develop into a high-level defensive line recruit that is disruptive and versatile.

EXPECTED ROLE IN 2026: He will rotate in at defensive tackle as a freshman before starting the final three seasons of his high school career.

Lewis is a 2030 prospect with size and a frame to die for, he’s starting to put it together athletically and the upside for him has no ceiling. The I-Key Lewis I-Key Lewis 6'4" | 225 lbs | EDGE/OL Baylor School | 2030 TN storm will be coming. While not a starter, he still (unofficially) finished with three tackles and a huge tackle for loss. The jury is out on if he’ll be an unblockable Edge or a dancing bear Offensive Tackle, but he’s going to be something.

I don’t think there was a single player on the field, coach on the sidelines or spectator in the stands that didn’t notice 6-foot-2, 225-pound I-Key Lewis I-Key Lewis 6'4" | 225 lbs | EDGE/OL Baylor School | 2030 TN on the 6th grade Tennessee Future Stars. The starter at Right Tackle has an incredible frame that the coaches at Baylor have to be drooling over. For a prospect of his height and length at this age, he has surprisingly pretty good feet when pass blocking. He did get beat inside at times for playing too tall and/or not being strong enough against the Kentucky defensive line–both of which are correctable with more work and further physical development. He’s a 2030 that should be on the radar of a lot of people in the Volunteer State.
