is an intriguing receiver prospect with good size, athleticism, and physicality that will be stepping into a larger role after spending a year as part of the rotation and soaking up the coaching.
In the rotation, he has been an effective blocker, even on bigger corners, which has allowed for him to stick on the field some more as well.
As a receiver, he has a solid baseline frame with natural movement skills and that should allow for him to be able to make plays even while playing against arguably the hardest region in the state.
As a junior, he should be relied upon as a starter and a top contributor. He can be moved around the formation and his all-around game that he has developed will make him a versatile weapon for Baylor.

DeGennaro is a solid player on a loaded Baylor team, but is primed to take the next step soon. He’s a fluid route runner with nice cuts and is smooth when changing direction. The sophomore receiver also features strong hands and a good feel for where he is on the field.
DeGennaro is used in multiple ways for the Red Raider offense, lining up as an outside and inside receiver. The 6-foot-1 player is a good run blocker on the outside with a high motor to play through the echo of the whistle.

, an athlete at Brentwood High School. DeGennaro catches my attention with his height and wingspan down the stretch, proving his ability to elevate off the ground to haul in the clutch touchdown pass. I also like how DeGennaro can confuse the defense with his solid footwork and shiftiness down the stretch.

, an athlete at Brentwood High School. DeGennaro was unstoppable in the endzone, hauling in two touchdowns on the evening. On top of excellent execution off the snap, what made DeGennaro so explosive was his height and wingspan, proving he could elevate off the ground to haul in the touchdown pass.

was one of several weapons on the outside that had a good day. I’ve thought highly of DeGennaro for some time but seeing him play live again was a treat and he surpassed some expectations. After recently receiving his first offer from Miami (OH), DeGennaro went out like he had something to prove (which all players at this level do) and notched a nice receiving touchdown in the game against Kentucky. Also had another grab or two (no official stats were kept) in the losing effort.

, an athlete at Brentwood Middle School. With great size and speed, DeGennaro was difficult to defeat in the backfield, using his breakaway speed and toughness to be durable in coverage as well as lock onto the deep pass. DeGennaro also impressed me with his ability to create seperation and be durable on the move in one-on-one drills.
