Lewis was a reliable target throughout the tournament. The combination his size and speed off the line make him a match up nightmare for the majority of DBs. He does an excellent job of utilizing his big frame and long arms to attack the ball and essentially “box out” defenders from making a play on it. His spatial awareness and ability to recognize coverage impressed as well, as he understood when and where to settle his routes in the soft spots of zone or continue running vs man coverage. Lewis holds offers from ETSU and North Alabama.

Lewis, ranked as one of the best TE prospects in Tennessee, was an exciting watch and easily fit the billing of an FBS TE talent. He did the typical job of a TE in 7v7, settling down and boxing out to offer an easy target for the QB. He just did it better than anyone else, thanks to his frame, spatial awareness, and hands. He flashed some wiggle in space, but he doesn’t even need to separate that much. His hands are fantastic, both in and out of his frame, and he is a workhorse that powers through routes. I will be checking back in on Lewis over his senior year.

I was additionally impressed with Brady Lewis Brady Lewis 6'3" | 235 lbs | TE Baylor School | 2027 State TN , an athlete for Tennessee Brigade 18U that made his presence known on both sides of the ball. On day one of the tournament, Lewis was doing a great job of reading the offense like a book and hauling in the clutch interception. Today, Lewis was making plays at receiver, including an impressive touchdown catch in the title game. The rising senior out of the Cleveland area is definitely worth watching next season.

Another playmaker to establish himself was Brady Lewis Brady Lewis 6'3" | 235 lbs | TE Baylor School | 2027 State TN , an athlete for Tennessee Brigade 18U that went off on both sides of the ball. On top of outstanding size, Lewis impressed me with his strength and ability to move quick in the backfield. Lewis made a number of significant plays, including a clutch interception and an impressive touchdown catch. Lewis did a great job of beating the defense to the ball and elevating off the ground to make the catch.

Brady Lewis Brady Lewis 6'3" | 235 lbs | TE Baylor School | 2027 State TN played with confidence all afternoon, on both sides of the ball. He is a big, strong player who cases a wide shadow on defense and offers a large catch radius on offense. When he settles down to box our, defenders have a tough time running through his frame to get to the football. On his actual tape, you see a versatile player with plenty of reps both as a blocker, receiver, and a ball carrier. He is ranked as one of our best TEs in Tennessee out of the 2027 class.

Brady Lewis Brady Lewis 6'3" | 235 lbs | TE Baylor School | 2027 State TN is an athletic tight end with solid size that thrives as a receiving option in a H-back type role.

He is a natural mover that is effective at creating yards after the catch whether he gets targeted on a quick-hitter, in the intermediate, or up the seams.

He will need to continue to add to his frame and improve upon his strength levels, but the best aspect of his game is the versatility and athleticism that a creative offensive play caller will be able to take advantage of in college.

His team has done a nice job of using him in a variety of ways (tight end, slot, running back, fullback, etc) that gets him in space, whether to make a play as a receiver/runner or as a blocker.
