One of the top overall quarterbacks from the 2026 class, Curtis had another sensational season with the Eagles where the 6 ‘4 quarterback led his Nashville Christian team to back to back state championships. Curtis, who is already on campus at Vanderbilt, did a lot of damage throughout the 2026 season where he put up strong numbers both through the air and on the ground. His presence behind center was difficult to handle for the opposition as Curtis was a man among boys on this level that did just about anything he wanted whenever his number was called. Curtis will go down as one of the best players to ever come out of the Volunteer State and he has a chance to be special during his time with the Commodores.

Curtis will be leaving Nash. Christian as one of the more decorated, storied prospects to ever come out of the Volunteer State as he picked up his second “Mr. Football” award of his career on Wednesday to go on top of two state titles. Recently signing with Vanderbilt, Curtis is coming off his second Blue Cross Bowl championship after beating USJ, 56-7 and now can be named a two time “Mr. Football” winner. The Eagles senior was unstoppable this Fall as nobody had answers in stopping him. He will now take his big arm and athleticism to the Southeastern Conference where Curtis has a great shot at being the Commodores starting quarterback sooner than later.

Curtis was a man among boys on the field Thursday afternoon. Anything he wanted to do, he could do against an overwhelmed USJ football team. The future Commodore helped lead his team to back to back state titles after his six touchdown and MVP day against the Bruins. His talent was on full display in this game where he showcased his powerful right arm and running abilities that you will see in the Southeastern Conference next season.

Curtis once again proved why he’s one of the nation’s top signal callers, making an assortment of explosive plays, including several impressive touchdown passes. Curtis also showed off his ability to adapt to pressure and run the ball, punching in a rushing touchdown early on in the contest. The Vanderbilt commit showed out in the final high school game of his career.

Curtis is one of the most talented quarterbacks I’ve seen play, proving his ability to make huge plays in crucial moments. Curtis was tested all night by Tyner Academy’s defense and really proved his ability to step up and make the big play. In addition to throwing for a number of impressive touchdown passes, Curtis capitalized in the final minute of the game, running in the game-winning score.
