is a physically college-ready prospect, standing at 6’3″, 195 pounds. Defensively, he shows strong range and awareness in coverage, allowing him to stay in phase and make plays on the ball in zone. Offensively, he also plays receiver, showcasing his ball skills and reliable hands. He’s used on jet sweeps, showing the Panthers trust him with the ball in his hands, and he makes defenses pay with his vision and speed as a ball carrier. Branch currently holds 10+ Division I offers, including University of Miami, Texas A&M University, and University of Michigan.

Another top player out of St. Frances, James is a prospect I have liked for a long time now. Playing mainly WR as a freshman, he got more time at DB and playing it very well which is why he is now #2 ranked ATH in the class.
Playing WR, James displays strong hands and is a strong leaper. He plucks the ball out the air and is able to go up and get it. Effective as red-zone threat as well as across all 3 levels of the passing game. Along with being a crisp route runner, with the ability to beat press and stem his routes to create separation. James is also an excellent blocker at WR, not afraid at all to mix it up and drive DBs out of the plays. On defense,James can cover a lot of grass and comes downhill to fill and shows nice physicality. This allows him to play over the top of come down in the box.
With his combination of excellent size, physicality and athleticism James is a very intriguing prospect. I could see him playing WR/S or even growing into an OLB. There is a lot to like about James’ game and it is no wonder he holds double digit Power offers already. I expect a huge junior season out of James and he will certainly be competing for that #1 ATH spot.

Staying put as the #1 WR in his class, James holds a total of 8 Power 4 offers already. He earned this #4 overall ranking because of his exceptional size & athleticism for the position.
He is your prototypical X receiver as he is big, strong, and shows excellent hands. He is a good leaper who shows excellent ball skills, able to go up and high point the ball over the defender. A natural pass catcher as well, you notice he looks the ball in, and routinely catches the ball away from his body and/or snatching it out of the air. A long strider who can get down the field quickly as well as get good YAC as he eats up grass. James shows good route running and the ability to beat press coverage off the line. Another quality of James that really stands out to me is his willingness, if not desire to block as a WR. He plays tough and does not hesitate he take a DB out of the play, being a strong help in the run game.
James has great size, strength, toughness, and technique for his position with a very high ceiling. I’d like to see him continue to develop into a route running technician and take that overall next step to being a dominating force at the position. From what I see he has the work ethic and desire to do so and I expect a huge sophomore season and many more offers coming James’ way.

Standing nearly 6-foot-3 and 175-pounds, Branch is a man amongst boys in the DMV. The eighth-grader already holds offers from Penn State and Maryland, two programs that consistently pull the top recruits out of Maryland.

. In Dixon’s write up we talked about the weapons he has around him, and to find the most lethal weapon, look no further then Branch. While I don’t have official measurements on him (which is why no height is listed) I have to believe he’s every bit of 6-foot-1 to 6-foot-2 and a well-put together 170-to-180-pounds. Just a physical mismatch at this stage of the game for most Defensive Back’s. He can run past guys vertically and take the top off for a big play, or he can find a soft pocket in the coverage and then pick up YAC yards when turning up field. Either way, there’s not much a defense on the middle school level can to stop him.
