Justin transfers to SFA by way of DePaul Catholic (NJ) and makes his 2029 ranking debut as one of the top QBs. I was able to get eyes on him earlier this fall when he was at DePaul Catholic and he is every bit 6’3″+ with a long lean frame that will fill out nicely. Justin showcases a strong arm & is a good athlete. He can push it down the field let it rip with great velocity. Justin also possesses good mobility, able to extend the play and can run for yards. He is also the son of Former UMD & Chargers LB Shawne Merriman so he has great pedigree.
A player with tons of potential I can’t wait to see more of in the future. Justin has the tools to be a 4/5 star level QB and a possible National Recruit down the line. Colleges have taken notice of that as well – Justin already holds 5 total offers, three of which being P4 offers from Cuse, UMD and BC.
