STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Stature, Pass-Pro Reps at 340+ pounds
Only a mid-season tape on Hudl, said tape is four-minutes long, showcasing both DT/DE reps, as well as reps at left tackle. Varisty reps I might add, Rodney GrayRodneyGray

was able to put forth substantial tape while gaining significant experience as a freshman. Rodney, who we hope can slim down 20-30 pounds, is powerful enough to bully smaller guards/centers in the trenches and occaionally make a play. Gray can also provide quality LT reps. The kick-slide needs work, Gray isn’t nimble on feet yet, far from it. That being said, the young man can get out of his stance, if he gets his hands on you, you’re going to have real trouble shedding his grip. The potential is through the roof, it’s a major reason we ranked him this high. What Gray could become as a sophomore/junior is where the intrigue lies. Promising future.

had a good year for West Catholic last year as he played left guard for West Catholic. Gray does a good job in running blocking. It is hard for defenders to get around him and he does a nice job of blocking defensive tackles. Gray also did a good job on double-team blocks on defensive linemen and then peeling off to block linebackers. Gray is a talented player who should only get better.
