After two championship appearances with Huntingtown, Makins is making his way to Maryland powerhouse St. Francis and reclassifying to the class of 2028. He played both ways for the Hurricanes, lining up at cornerback on defense and wide receiver on offense. Offensively, he was utilized for jet sweeps and the short passing game. On defense, he excels in zone coverage and is quick to come down and make tackles. During the 7-on-7 tournament, Makins showcased his ability in zone coverage, keeping his eyes and feet active while covering as much ground as possible.
