PRZ 7On Battle in The DMV: MD Octane

Wright has been having a heck of an offseason. He is a highly recruited middle school prospect who is at the top of the middle school rankings. Wright led his middel school team to a state championship, and earned a ticket to the middle school under armor all American game. During the tournament I go to see some of the skills he put on film but against older oppenents. Wright is clearly expected to be a force at the high school level, they ran a redzone play where it was one route in the play, and that was a fade ball to Wright. Wright fought for position and high pointed the ball for a touchdown completion, showing his body control, strength and jump ball skills. In the open field he is elusive and accelerates up field fast once he puts his foot in the ground to go north and south. He has light feet and has good hip mobility, changing direction and dodging defenders with ease.       Daily had a lively arm adt the 7On tournament, the ball pops off of his hand. Dailey plays with confidence amd quiet fire about him. He has velocity behind hius throws and throws a heck of a post ball. Daily drove down the field all day with ease and never really got too rattled. His confidenceshined through in big moments. Dailey even showed off a little with a no look crosser pass, that was accurate and on time. I can't wait to see this leader behind the SFA offense this season.       [player_tooltip player_id='1256586' first='Wilson' last=''] possesses a twitchy, agile build and is incredibly quick on his feet. He runs sharp, precise routes and displays remarkable suddenness in and out of cuts. Throughout the tournament, [player_tooltip player_id='1256586' first='Wilson' last=''] made significant plays, stretching the defense down the middle of the field, while also showcasing his ability to put points on the board with crisp corner routes. In the role of a speedy slot receiver, he played a key part in the quick game, demonstrating explosive potential. Additionally, [player_tooltip player_id='1256586' first='Wilson' last=''] flashed his special teams prowess with a couple of impressive returns that highlighted his burst and playmaking ability.       Hubbard was consistently active in coverage, even when the ball wasn't thrown his way. When the ball did come his direction in critical moments, he rose to the occasion, delivering solid coverage and timely deflections. He trusts his instincts, playing through the ball with confidence. This past season, Hubbard recorded 6 interceptions, including 2 pick-sixes, one of which he returned for a 90-yard touchdown.       After two championship appearances with Huntingtown, Makins is making his way to Maryland powerhouse St. Francis and reclassifying to the class of 2028. He played both ways for the Hurricanes, lining up at cornerback on defense and wide receiver on offense. Offensively, he was utilized for jet sweeps and the short passing game. On defense, he excels in zone coverage and is quick to come down and make tackles. During the 7-on-7 tournament, Makins showcased his ability in zone coverage, keeping his eyes and feet active while covering as much ground as possible.
