Wilson is a reliable slot receiver who currently brings value as a short-to-intermediate route runner, vertical seam threat, and return specialist. He is quick off the line with solid top-end speed, which can be seen on a few plays, including a couple of kickoff returns. Wilson shows toughness in his willingness to block and make catches despite contact. His stock will increase once he can provide more highlights of himself running an expanded route tree.

Easily one of the top performers on the day was Friendship Collegiate Academy standout Wilson Jr’].. My co-worker Rion Young was on him early and with good reason, Wilson is trending to be a major Division 1 wideout in a couple years. The 2028 prospect is the type of prospect that you need to get the football in his hands. He looked smooth and comfortable with the receivers all afternoon, and he showed why many FBS schools are already interested.

Wilson possesses a twitchy, agile build and is incredibly quick on his feet. He runs sharp, precise routes and displays remarkable suddenness in and out of cuts. Throughout the tournament, Wilson made significant plays, stretching the defense down the middle of the field, while also showcasing his ability to put points on the board with crisp corner routes. In the role of a speedy slot receiver, he played a key part in the quick game, demonstrating explosive potential. Additionally, Wilson flashed his special teams prowess with a couple of impressive returns that highlighted his burst and playmaking ability.
