Expert Analysis
Cory Lemer | Prep Redzone Scout
First up in this Final part is Elite Maryland QB Justin Dixon. The Concordia Prep Signal Caller, suited up for Black Ops, as they looked to make it two in a row Prep Redzone 18U titles. Standing at 6’2″ 195-Pounds, Dixon displayed a tall lengthy build that allowed him to see the whole field. He showcased an elite arm, with unbelievable strength and the ability to hit all levels of the field with ease. I like his footwork on throws, and his ability to find his playmakers open. I also like his trust, and ball placement on contested throws, which saw him throw consistently throughout the day, as Black Ops claimed a top seed for Sunday.

handles the ball with a composed demeanor and shows impressive efficiency when operating in the pocket. He delivers accurate throws to all levels of the field. Dixon is currently verbally committed to Syracuse, choosing the Orange over offers from Maryland and hometown Towson, a testament to his upside and long-term projection. Limited to just three games this past season, Dixon enters the offseason with a clear chip on his shoulder and something to prove. His selection to compete in the Elite 11 camp series only adds to the growing buzz, and all signs point to Dixon returning with renewed urgency and momentum as one of the region’s most intriguing quarterback prospects.

is a quarterback prospect with the physical tools and poise that make him one of the more intriguing young signal-callers in Maryland. Standing tall in the pocket, Dixon delivers accurate, well-timed passes, consistently throwing his receivers open and hitting them in stride.
What makes Dixon even more dangerous is his dual-threat ability, he’s comfortable extending plays outside the pocket and has the shiftiness and vision to make defenders miss when he tucks the ball and runs.
Currently committed to Syracuse, Dixon’s name continues to rise on the recruiting radar. With another year of growth ahead, expect him to have a standout Senior campaign and solidify himself as one of the top quarterbacks in the region.

Dixon overcame a pick-six early in the game and a lost fumble to lead both scoring drives. His big throws included 30-yard and 20-yard completions to Gillis and a screen pass to Blagmon that set up the game-winning touchdown run. He showed resilience under a lot of pressure from Archbishop Curley. Unofficially, I have him at 8-of-16 passing for about 110 yards, one interception, and one lost fumble.

Justin continues to impress me every time I watch him throw and he lead Level82 to an Elite 8 appearance in the tournament, losing to the team won the whole event at 18u. You watch Justin in action and it is no surprise he is already committed to Syracuse and the #3 ranked QB in the 2027 class per PRZ Rankings. Justin can layer it over the defense with ease hitting his receivers in stride. He showed excellent accuracy in placement, putting the ball out there for his players to run under it and make the play. Justin shows good foot work in the pocket, stepping into his throws and is a mechanically sound QB.
This Moment! The Commitment! #AGTG Thank you for seeing and believing in me and my talent coach @FranBrownCuse and staff @CoachNixon_Cuse @CoachDRedd @CoachVollono @CoachNunz The Grind Continues pic.twitter.com/midHPDeVBZ

Justin is a player I’ve seen a lot over the years and was wow’ed by his workouts last spring. The only QB in the class to have made his commitment already, Justin made his pledge to Syracuse this winter after holding offers from them and Maryland.
Looking every bit the part in person, Justin has a great frame at 6’2+ and 190lbs, with broad shoulders and filled out well. Justin best trait is his arm strength as he can rip it deep with minimal effort. Can push it down the field with ease, quick release, can just flick it out there and have the WR run under it. Can throw with timing & anticipation while zipping it in there. He consistently gets nice velocity on all his throws. Able to make all the throws and excels at pushing it the sideline with high level placement and accuracy. Justin can do it up all over the field and fits perfectly in a vertical passing system.
I can see Justin having more Power 4 schools start sniffing around even with his commitment as he possesses high level overall throwing talent.
I am thrilled to announce my commitment to @CuseFootball. I want to thank Coach @FranBrownCuse & staff @CoachDRedd @CoachNunz @CoachVollono for everything!

Justin is a player I am very high on and can’t wait to see him live in game action this fall. Having transferred to Concordia after playing at DeMatha last fall as their JV QB, Justin looks to take over as the starter for Concordia this season and have himself a big sophomore season.
I was able to Justin throw this spring at one of Concordia’s workouts and came away very impressed with what I witnessed. Justin possesses good size & frame for the position. Tall and solid muscle build with broad shoulders…should still be growing and will put on good weight. He has a strong arm, can deliver the ball with good velocity and push it vertically. Consistently zipped it on time and with anticipation in routes on air. Looked the part of an offer QB in workouts and one college agreed so far as Justin picked up a UMD offer this summer. Justin is certainly in contention for the #1 QB spot in the 27 rankings, just need to see him do it live in big competition this fall.
