Justin Dixon Justin Dixon 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Concordia Prep | 2027 State MD was the most effective offensive player on the field, despite throwing two interceptions. Ryan Brown intercepted the first-series rollout, and Jackson Voss capitalized on a 3rd-and-10 pass when Jeff King fell. Nevertheless, Dixon was responsible for every Concordia point. He connected with King for a 40-yard pass from his own 9-yard line and delivered a 38-yard contested throw to Tyler Mintz following a fumble recovery. Dixon also found King on a 28-yard slant to initiate the 10–0 drive and threw a slant to Mintz to extend the lead. He later completed a 50-yard pass to King at the 7-yard line and followed with a 5-yard slant to make it 17–10. While he faced pressure from sacks and grounding penalties, Dixon’s decisive arm ultimately broke the tie with 45 seconds remaining.

I thought he did a nice job of getting the ball out quickly on the slant passes. Dixon hit them in stride, allowing them to get that YAC. He wasn’t afraid to throw downfield and give his receivers a chance to make a play on the 50/50 balls. Concordia Prep’s offense will be way more balanced than last year thanks to the return of Mr. Dixon.

After a shortened Jr. year due to injury, Justin looked more than back to form this past weekend in Concordia’s scrimmages. He proved why he was on the top QBs in the state and looked primed to take over this season. Showing great pocket awareness and mobility, knowing when to step up and get out to extend the play. Was very impressed with Justin’s ability to stand tall in the pocket and quickly go through his progression to find the open WR. Justin displayed a strong arm on the day. Zipping into tight windows and putting it on his receivers with good velocity while also being an easy to catch ball. He was able to layer it well and showed nice accuracy and placement with his passes. Monmouth is getting a good one in Justin and I can see him going out there and proving it to the MIAA again this year.

Dixon committed to Monmouth back on June 10th. There’s not a lot of film on him from too many games last season, and I did not see him in the game that I watched between Concordia Prep and Calvert Hall.

I’m sure Dixon, the one-time Syracuse football commit, is looking forward to coming back and letting everyone why he’s one of the top 2027 signal-callers in the MD/DC area.

Standing at 6’2″ 195-Pounds, Dixon displayed a tall lengthy build that allowed him to see the whole field. He showcased an elite arm, with unbelievable strength and the ability to hit all levels of the field with ease. I like his footwork on throws, and his ability to find his playmakers open. I also like his trust, and ball placement on contested throws, which saw him throw consistently throughout the day, as Black Ops claimed a top seed for Sunday.

Dixon is currently verbally committed to Syracuse, choosing the Orange over offers from Maryland and hometown Towson, a testament to his upside and long-term projection. Limited to just three games this past season, Dixon enters the offseason with a clear chip on his shoulder and something to prove. His selection to compete in the Elite 11 camp series only adds to the growing buzz, and all signs point to Dixon returning with renewed urgency and momentum as one of the region’s most intriguing quarterback prospects.

What makes Dixon even more dangerous is his dual-threat ability, he’s comfortable extending plays outside the pocket and has the shiftiness and vision to make defenders miss when he tucks the ball and runs.

Currently committed to Syracuse, Dixon’s name continues to rise on the recruiting radar. With another year of growth ahead, expect him to have a standout Senior campaign and solidify himself as one of the top quarterbacks in the region.

Dixon overcame a pick-six early in the game and a lost fumble to lead both scoring drives. His big throws included 30-yard and 20-yard completions to Gillis and a screen pass to Blagmon that set up the game-winning touchdown run. He showed resilience under a lot of pressure from Archbishop Curley. Unofficially, I have him at 8-of-16 passing for about 110 yards, one interception, and one lost fumble.
