Baker recently received an offer from Penn State, adding to his impressive list of offers, which includes Alabama, NC State, and Tennessee, among others. Just before receiving the Penn State offer, he released his top seven schools: Alabama, Virginia, NC State, Auburn, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Florida. The 6’5″, 300+ pound prospect is expected to make an immediate impact as a freshman. With offers from major programs across the country, Baker’s recruitment will be one to watch closely.

Edward continues to show why he is one of the top OL for the MD/DC/DE area in the 2026 class. He picked up two more offers this past week from Pittsburgh & Virginia, putting his total at 15 D1 offers.

A mauler of an offensive lineman who can play OT or OG, Edward is physical and dominate in the trenches. He can also get up to the second level showing nice athleticism for his size, with quick choppy active feet. Edward shows he can keep a strong solid base, not getting off balance. staying in the defenders chest before proceeding to bury them in the dirt. I like his strength, aggressiveness and motor as an lineman, finishing every play. Don’t be surprised if he is a 20+ offer prospect by the end of this summer.

Edward is a player I’ve seen since early in his freshman year and he camped at the National Preps Top Dawg Showcase last spring as a freshman as well. He is a nice size, versatile, athletic lineman who can do a lot of things well. An OL who can play multiple positions along the line and can fit a lot of different blocking schemes. Ed has the skill set to trap block, scoop, down, pin pull ,drive and combo block. There isn’t much he can’t do in the run game and shows good athleticism and footwork in pass blocking. A good athlete as well, he is quick out of his stance and can get going in a hurry out in space whether its getting up to the 2nd level or pulling around the edge and running down field. A high IQ player on the field Edward plays smart. You can see he reads the defenses alignment, takes good angles, and is always looking for someone to block and doesn’t quit on a play. That doesn’t surprise as he is a strong kid in the classroom as well, holding a 3.7 GPA.

I’d like to see Ed take that next step in being dominant, playing with some more aggressiveness at times, but that is no knock on his game. He is so well rounded he will only continue to develop nicely and expand on his abilities. Edward holds 8 total offers at the FBS/Power 4 level, and as more colleges see his strong skill set as a potential start and utility lineman – he will be racking up the offers!

Edward has great size and is dominant in the run game. He drives his defenders off the ball every play and does a good job at creating a lane for his teammates. Baker has enough quickness to pull and lead block and can hold up in pass blocking. He shows some versatility playing Guard and Tackle in game. Baker currently holds two offers from UNC-Charlotte and Boston College.

Already 6’5 330lbs at 15, the eye test won’t be hard to pass for Baker. He’s a good pass blocker with strength that allows him to lock out pass rushers. Once engaged he’s able to hold off defensive tackles for 3-4 seconds. In the run game he uses his big frame and turns his hips and shoulders to funnel defenders away from the hole sometimes ending in a pancake. So far, he’s off to a good start with 2 offers from Boston College and UNC-Charolette.
