Battle at the Beach Preview (Part 2)

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Battle at the Beach passing tournament at Edison High is the biggest annual passing tournament of the summer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This year is no different with a stacked lineup of some of the best teams in Southern California.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here is a brief look at the teams competing at the event on Saturday:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>POOL C</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>SANTA MARGARITA</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The defending Open Division State champions will have a good mix of returners and new faces this season. One of those new faces is Villa Park transfer quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='2231347' first='Matthew' last='Smith'] who recently committed to Vanderbilt. [player_tooltip player_id='1864124' first='Ryan' last='Clark'] will be a top receiver along with [player_tooltip player_id='958824' first='Grant' last='Mosley'] and Kansas commit tight end [player_tooltip player_id='2106838' first='Luke' last='Gazzaniga'].
