Scott was the backup quarterback at Mater Dei as a freshman last season and only appeared in two games.
He had a standout performance at the You Are Athlete camp and has a tight, compact delivery as a lefty. His arm strength is very good for his age and he can drive the ball down the field. Scott would have been a very capable starter at Mater Dei as a sophomore but the Monarchs added two high-profile transfers at quarterback so he landed at Long Beach Poly.
