The Long Beach Poly product is one of the top linebackers in the state regardless of class and is coming off a stellar Freshman season campaign for the Jackrabbits. He is a highly instinctual downhill player that does a great job reading plays quickly and applying pressure up the middle. He runs through contact at the point of attack shows good redirect abilities and closing speed into the backfield while an efficient open field tackler. He also displays he can set the edge with heavy hands and provides a pass rush from multiple angles of the defense, using both speed and power. He has the ideal build for the inside linebacker position and should draw plenty of P4 interest/offers and holds two offers from Sacramento State and Utah.

The Long Beach Poly product reeled in his first offer from Utah not too long ago, and is another kid that will be wanted by most FBS schools by the time his career is done. He is a longer and rangy linebacker with cover abilities downfield and can turn and run with slot receivers and backs out of the backfield with ease. Against the run, he flashes taking good angles in space, closes quickly and can explode through contact in-between the tackles while showing he can knife into the backfield from the middle or out on the edge with pass rush initial explosion and quick hands/bend under blockers. He is a very complete player with a high motor and is just scratching the surface of his upside over the next three seasons.
