Anderson is the biggest riser in this rankings update moving inside the top 20 overall after an impressive sophomore season that showcased his versatile, two way impact. Playing both WR and CB, he proved to be highly recruitable and a true game changer on either side of the ball. 6’0” 160 lbs. he’s got good length in his frame with the growth potential to add mass as he develops. Possesses great top end speed, allowing him to stretch the field vertically on offense and close space quickly in coverage. Flashes plus short area burst/acceleration getting to top speed within several strides and sustaining. Demonstrates his high level ball skills consistently at both positions showing tracking ability downfield/over the shoulder, high point ability in traffic, the reactionary quickness to undercut defensively. The combination of speed, instincts, and explosive playmaking ability has seen his recruiting stock skyrocket over the last six months currently holding 12 D1 offers including top programs such as Georgia, Oregon, Alabama, and Miami.

, a 6’0, 170-pound athlete from Long Beach Poly who’s already flashing two-way potential as a WR/DB. This sophomore brings speed and instincts that pop on film. Anderson’s got great ball skills, quick feet in his routes, and the hips to mirror in coverage – he’s versatile enough to line up outside or in the slot. His football IQ is advanced for his age, reading defenses and finding soft spots in zones. With another year to add mass, he could be a lockdown corner or a shifty receiver who racks up YAC- this kid’s trajectory is straight up. Look for his rankings to go sky high in the next coming months.

The two-way athlete has been seeing increased recruiting attention during his sophomore season. Anderson again showed Friday why college programs are continuing to pursue him. The sophomore plays as both a defensive back and receiver for the Jackrabbits. His performance on offense stood out most in the win over Millikan. His first big reception set up the second Poly touchdown as he took a screen pass and weaved his way 25 yards through traffic to get into the red zone. Anderson has impressive elusiveness and his ability to make plays after the catch is one of his best attributes. He had a long touchdown pass called back for a penalty along the offensive line as well.

There was a solid group of class of 2028 guys at the event and Anderson stood out to me as the top 2028 receiver.
Anderson did well against press man coverage despite not being as strong as a lot of the defenders. He was getting open with regularity and will only get better as he adds size. Anderson will attend Long Beach Poly this season.

-You name a football trait or buzz word you hear used to describe Wide Receivers and this kid checks the box. From size and ball skills, to body positioning and route running — has has it all
-There is a long way to go, but I can see Anderson becoming a certifiable deep threat option on the outside to the level of becoming a major P5 prospect
