Recent Commitment: Arizona
The Mission Viejo product has had one of the biggest off-seasons of any prospect in the state and really took off since his junior season ended. He is a big time target downfield with the ideal athletic abilities, size and frame for the P4 level and is a plus blocker as well that checks the boxes needed for the position. A very nice get for Arizona, he held offers from the likes of Wazzu, Minnesota, Utah and Oregon State among others.

What he dose well: Displays impressive athleticism with verified speed (4.59 40-yard dash, 4.1 shuttle, 11.03 100m dash) that shows up in highlights from events like the MV South County Classic and games against St. Paul and Folsom, where he excel as a dual-threat WR/TE. Strong hands and frame allow for contested catches and physical play in traffic; bench press of 315 lbs translates to effective blocking and yards after contact.
What he needs to work on: Consistency in route polish or deep separation against elite coverage—highlights focus on bursts but don’t detail advanced technique. Needs to maintain health, as profile emphasizes measurables over full-season stats.
How he projecs to help a team win: As a versatile TE/WR hybrid, his size-speed combo creates mismatches in the passing game, stretching seams and winning in the red zone. Contributes to wins by opening run lanes with blocking strength and providing a reliable target on third downs, fitting spread offenses that maximize athletic traits for explosive plays.

Markofski is a rare blend of size and athleticism at 6’4” 215 lbs. bringing the frame of a TE with the movement skills and speed of a true WR, clocked a verified 11.03 100m, 22.31 200m, and 50.84 400m. A matchup nightmare for defenses creating separation against LB’s in coverage with speed while posing a physical mismatch against smaller DB’s. He runs with fluidity and acceleration. Long strides eat close defenders cushion quickly making him a dangerous vertical threat and a reliable target at the short/intermediate levels. Competes for every ball with strong hands and plus body control flashing the ability to track and adjust smoothly to off target throws. Offered by Minnesota and New Mexico this past spring, he’s an intriguing prospect that will rise up rankings and recruiting boards as he progresses and showcases his skillset.

The Mission Viejo prospect is another guy that should have a very successful Junior season for the Diablos. He is a smooth athlete with good long speed downfield, separation abilities and can win on contested catches over the middle with strong hands and good body control in traffic. He’s another prospect that is still developing as a route runner, but has all the tools to be a FBS tight end at the next level and should start reeling in offers post Junior season as he is one of the best in his class for the tight end group across the state.

The Mission Viejo product is one of the top two-way guys across the region in the 2027 class and should really see his recruitment explode next off-season. He has the ideal frame and athleticism for either the tight end or edge position and is a very fluid athlete with a huge catch radius, downfield speed and high point abilities. He has the ability to continue packing on weight through his high school career with the frame to hold it, and is a no-brainer to enter into our rankings in the next update on either side of the ball. Currently, he holds offers from Minnesota and New Mexico.

picked up an offer from New Mexico last Friday.
Markofski didn’t record a catch last season as a sophomore, but will likely be a bigger part of the offense for Mission Viejo this season. He’s had a successful offseason on Mission Viejo’s track team and exploited some bad matchups at the Battle at the Beach passing tournament last summer.
He got offers from UNLV and Minnesota in 2024 but New Mexico is the first school to offer him this recruiting cycle.
