Junker is one of the top receivers in the 2027 class across California, and recently made the transfer to Mission Viejo where he will finish out his last two years. He is a natural route runner with elite downfield speed, natural ball skills and strong hands when making contested catches on off-platform receptions. He is quick in and out of his breaks while able to get off man coverage and get into defenders blind spots downfield. After the catch he shows short area quickness/twitch and has a strong initial burst after the catch, quickly knifing up-field and getting vertical. The First-Team all Trinity League selection should see his stock continue to rise and is a no-brainer FBS caliber player with still two years left in his high school career.

Junker had a career-high 172 yards with three touchdowns in Santa Margarita’s win over Inglewood in the Southern Section Division 1 playoffs.

He was beating very high-caliber defensive backs in man coverage on crossing routes and deep balls. Junker was wide open for a ton of the game.
