Kennett was another guy who could have been considered for MVP in a good linebacker group. He tested well, looked good in the drills and had some really good reps during the one-on-one period. He had the fastest 40-yard dash, shuttle and the best verticle jump. Kennett can do a lot on the football field and was one of the more competitive guys throughout the day.

Kennett led Servite with 69 tackles and added seven for a loss, two sacks and an interception last season and has since transferred to Santa Margarita.
He can be an inside linebacker or play off the edge and he makes a ton of plays in space. Kennett has good sideline-to-sideline speed and it will be good to see him in pass coverage against the running backs.

Kennett checks in as the top linebacker in the class and recently has made the transfer over to Santa Margarita from Servite. He is a very fluid and athletic in the box banger that can move around at the second level and be a pass rusher on the edge as well and makes tons of plays in space and behind the line. He has ideal closing speed and range to make tackles outside the box while able to go sideline to sideline and shows violent hands to get off blocks and dip/bend around blockers and is a high motor guy that can cover downfield as well. A no-brainer national recruit caliber player, he is a big time addition to the Eagles defense and should have a monster junior season.

He’s a versatile linebacker who can play inside or off the edge. As a pass rusher, he has good short-area quickness and shakes off blocks very well. Kennett is a good run stopper and is a natural athlete who earned an offer from Notre Dame after a stellar performance at their camp last summer.
