Top Class of 2028 Linebackers in Orange County

<p class="text-gray-700">Kennett led Servite last season with 69 tackles, seven for a loss, two sacks and an interception last season.</p>   <p>He has positional versatility and can be equally effective on the inside or off the edge. When playing off the edge, he shows sideline-to-sideline speed and can make plays on the opposite side of the line. Kennett is very good at shaking offensive linemen with his hands and quick feet. He is a high-motor guy who worked really hard at the Under Armour Next camp and was a top performer on the day. Weller can blow up lead blockers and can get downhill in a hurry as a pass rusher. He times his blitzes very well and is a physical tackler. Weller scrapes well on outside runs and has solid lateral quickness. His closing speed as a linebacker is his biggest asset and he can make plays from very far away from the ball. Trujillo is a big, physical guy who can lay big hits and is a sure-handed tackler who doesn't let ball carriers escape. Scott plays outside backer but could become a safety in a different scheme. He's very good in pass coverage and has good instincts in zone coverage. Scott closes to the ball quickly and is a low tackler for a guy his height. Johns times his blitzes well and closes to the ball very quickly. I like him best as an outside backer but he can play inside as well.
