Servite offensive lineman Drew Fielder Drew Fielder 6'6" | 255 lbs | OL Servite | 2027 State CA flipped his commitment from Oregon to USC last weekend.

Fielder has only played offensive line for one year after converting from tight end but has become one of the more coveted tackle prospects in the class. He committed to Oregon on February 1 after attending its Junior Day but was offered by USC in late February and took an unofficial visit in March. Fielder is the seventh player from California in USC’s 2027 recruiting class and the first offensive lineman.

Fielder, a 6-6, 280-pound four-star offensive tackle committed to Oregon, is an intriguing long-term prospect with impressive length and agility for his size. His strengths include strong pass protection, good feet to mirror rushers, and the frame to add more weight while maintaining mobility—key for Trinity League battles. As a top-100 recruit, he’s climbed rankings with his upside. Weaknesses: Still developing power in run blocking and can be bull-rushed by stronger interiors if his base narrows. Against Peko, Fielder should attack by using his length to extend arms early, anchoring against power moves, and sliding to counter Peko’s burst, protecting the edge to give his QB time.

Notes: Fielder is already a national recruit and one of the more athletic and high upside guys across the western region for the position. He is one of the top players in the vaunted Trinity league and one of the top uncommitted tackles out west and will be one to keep a close eye on as we move through the off-season and into the summer.

Fielder is still pretty new to the tackle position but his frame and athleticism make him a high-upside prospect. Judging by clips of him doing one-on-one reps this offseason, he seems comfortable working in space, has quick feet and uses his length to get his arms extended on defenders. His footwork is solid and he recovers well when he gets beat initially. Fielder has offers from Arizona State, Colorado and Minnesota among others.

Fielder wisely moved from tight end to tackle and shows great promise as a pass blocker.

He has quick feet in space, often gets his arms extended and doesn’t lean forward too much. After watching some one-on-one clips of him this offseason, I’d like to see him work on his initial punch. but his recovery and footwork are very good for a player with his experience level. Fielder has offers from Arizona State, Colorado, Minnesota, Arizona and Sacramento State.

Fielder made the move from tight end to offensive tackle this off-season, and he has tremendous upside and length with plenty of room to grow and develop with still two years left in his prep career. He is 6’6″ with the frame to easily carry 295+ and has the athleticism, arm length and frame for the tackle position at the P4 level. He is a natural bender with elite feet and movement abilities in space and will be one of the premier tackle prospects across the country in the 2027 class moving forward. Having a busy Spring already, Fielder has picked up offers from ASU, Arizona, Colorado and Minnesota and should be a 20+ offer kid by the time it’s all said and done.

Fielder is violent with his hands and drops the anchor well against power rush moves. The three schools are the first to offer Fielder.
