Expert Analysis
Michael Huntley | Prep Redzone Scout
Aiava had 31 tackles, seven for a loss, two sacks and a fumble recovery for Servite last season and earned Second Team All-Trinity League honors. He earned First Team All-League honors as a freshman.
He’s a safety who is an excellent run defender and closes to the ball quickly. You can’t leave him unblocked even on outside run plays away from him because he has the speed to make the play from the other side. Aiava showed a lot of promise as a zone safety in two-high coverages as a freshman.

Aiava is the only freshman who earned First Team All-Trinity League honors. He had 60 tackles and three interceptions with two forced fumbles.
I like him best as a cover 2 or cover 4 safety because he can cover a lot of the field but he can also come up into the box if needed. He is an excellent tackler and always takes great angles to the ball.
