Scott was primarily an edge rusher for Mater Dei last season but he also played off the line and showed some pass coverage skills. As a pass rusher, he is a versatile guy who can win with his speed and occasionally overpower tackles. Scott is a good run defender with sideline-to-sideline speed at around 240 pounds and he takes good pursuit routes. He was the MVP of the All-22 camp and is committed to USC.

Scott looks way bigger than when I last saw him at the State championship game in December. He’s more of an edge rusher to me but he worked out with the linebackers and had a great showing. He moves well even with the added weight and running backs had a hard time getting by him in the open field.

He is one of the better pass rushing edge rushers in the class and has sideline-to-sideline speed. He can win with power or speed moves and evades running backs trying to block him frequently.
