Schuster checks into our rankings update as the top linebacker in the 2029 class and deservingly so. He is a long and rangy player that can make plays outside the tackles, closes quickly and is violent inside while packing a punch at the POA. He is a smooth mover around blockers, can shock and shed in the box and knifes into the backfield while a excellent pass rusher with natural bend, violent hands and is always pursuing the ball backside. His length, range and high IQ for his age makes him a intriguing prospect and its no surprise he is already a national recruit and one of the top players in the Trinity League.

Schuster had 43 tackles with four for a loss and 2.5 sacks for Mater Dei as a freshman last season.
His skillset shows better on film that it may in a camp setting because he is a hard hitter in between the tackles and has the frame to be a high-level inside linebacker. Schuster does have good lateral quickness and can make plays outside the tackles so it will be interesting to see him in pass coverage on Sunday.

He has sideline-to-sideline speed with great lateral quickness and good closing speed. Schuster often blows up running backs in pass protection and is a big hitter.
