Checking into our rankings atop the defensive back list and one of the top players in the 2028 class across the country, Leutele is a rangy and physical safety with elite cover abilities downfield, ball skills and tackling abilities in the box. He is a very high IQ player especially for a rising Sophomore and is already one of the best players in the top league in the country. He currently holds 12 offers from the likes of Miami, Arizona, ASU, and Georgia, and will be a 25+ offer kid by the time it’s all said and done.

Leutele was excellent in the 1-on-1 period. He wasn’t biting on double moves because he is confident in his speed closing to the ball. Leutele was in the hip pocket of receivers when playing press coverage and had good timing on his pass break ups.

At 6’1” 195 lbs. he’s a ball hawk in the secondary combining his range, speed, and instincts to play sideline to sideline in both coverage and run support. His reactionary quickness and ability to anticipate and then close space on the ball sets him apart. Versatile skillset gives him good positional flexibility to drop back in deep coverage or roll down into the box to play nickel while adding valuable run support. 6’1 175 wide receiver rocking #4 is an athlete. Ace put up the first score in an acrobatic touchdown catch at the right corner of the end zone to get his team on the board in the first quarter of play. He showed off his ability to redirect at the top of the route making the defender slip for him to create space to keep his feet in. Then turned around and kicked his own PAT. Is the punter as well.
