Henry Jr. was uncoverable in Mater Dei’s 36-31 win over St. John Bosco. The Ohio State commit caught five passes for 213 yards with two touchdowns.
Henry caught four passes for 135 yards with two touchdowns in Mater Dei’s win over St. Thomas Aquinas of Florida.
He made a diving catch in the end zone for a touchdown, an impressive toe tap catch at the sidelines, and a strong contested catch for an 81-yard touchdown.
Henry suffered a knee injury early last season and only appeared in three games for Mater Dei, but had two touchdowns.
He is very explosive out of his stance and is a long strider with speed. Henry wins nearly al of his 50/50 balls and his size creates a lot of mismatches in man coverage. He is a versatile receiver who can beat you deep or use his strong hands to catch balls in traffic on shorter routes.
Henry is arguably the top prospect in the 2026 class and it’s easy to see why.
He has a lengthy stride and moves fluidly. I saw him blowing past some quality defensive backs but had to deal with some under-thrown balls. Henry is as good as advertised with some room to grow.
