After a thoughtful review of the 2025 season, I am excited to announce the Prep Redzone 2025 All-State Team with a long list of honorable mentions. The 2025 season was one for the books as we crowned new champions in four of the seven classifications in Nebraska (B- Waverly, C2- Bishop Neumann, D2- Wynot, and D6- Garden County) and saw three teams accomplish back-to-back championships (A- Millard South, C1- Wahoo, and D1- Sandy Creek). This season also featured arguably the most decorated and highly recruited senior classes in state history. As always, this is not an easy task given the state's talent pool, and I consider several factors, not just statistics or recruitment status.   I am glad to announce the Prep Redzone Nebraska All-State First and Second Teams. Despite seeing an uptick in attention from opposing linemen this season, Baker still dominated with 30 tackles, 18 TFLs, and eight sacks. Micah recorded 30 tackles, four TFLs, and a sack. Fries led the Wolves in tackles with 76, along with 6.5 TFLs, 2.5 sacks, two interceptions, and a forced fumble. Keian led the team in tackles with 111 total stops, a TFL, 1.5 sacks, two interceptions, and a fumble recovery. Keian has received his signing release from Iowa State and has committed to Penn State.</li> </ul>   Outside LBs:   [player_tooltip player_id='402165' first='Teagan' last='Urban'], 2026 - Millard South - 6'0" 190 lbs - <a href="https://x.com/TeaganU5" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@TeaganU5)</a>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Millard South's [player_tooltip player_id='402165' first='Teagan' last='Urban'] was the main engine behind that elite defense, earning All-State Defensive MVP honors. Teagan erupted for 113 tackles, 43 TFLs, 11.5 sacks, three fumble recoveries, two interceptions, and a forced fumble. Urban is one of the top uncommitted prospects in the state.</li> </ul>   [player_tooltip player_id='488116' first='Jase' last='Reynolds'], 2026 - Elkhorn North - Nebraska Signee - <a href="https://x.com/jasereynoldss" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@jasereynoldss) </a>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Elkhorn North's [player_tooltip player_id='488116' first='Jase' last='Reynolds'] was the defensive chess piece in the aforementioned Wolves' linebacker group. As a senior, Jase recorded 54 tackles, eight TFLs, four sacks, two interceptions, and a forced fumble. Reynolds will be staying home to play ball for the Nebraska Huskers.</li> </ul>   Cornerbacks:   [player_tooltip player_id='488174' first='Darion' last='Jones'], 2026 - Omaha North - Iowa signee - <a href="https://x.com/dar11on" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@dar11on) </a>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Omaha North's [player_tooltip player_id='488174' first='Darion' last='Jones'] continued to make his case as the top cornerback in the state with an excellent senior season. Darion ended the year with 25 tackles, three TFLs, a sack, three interceptions, and a forced fumble. Bryson recorded 71 tackles, six TFLs, and six interceptions. Tory led the Eagles with 68 tackles and three interceptions as their starting safety. Tory has already announced his commitment to Nebraska, where he will join a rising '27 class.</li> </ul>   Second-Team:   DL:   [player_tooltip player_id='586964' first='Christopher' last='Wash'], 2026 - Millard South - Pittsburgh State commit - <a href="https://x.com/ChristopherMJW2" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@ChristopherMJW2)</a>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Millard South's [player_tooltip player_id='586964' first='Christopher' last='Wash'] tore it up during his first season playing as a Nebraska prep. Wash's senior season ended with 36 tackles, 18.5 TFLs, five sacks, and a fumble recovery. Ladd posted 28 tackles, 11.5 TFLs, and four sacks during his senior campaign. Elijah recorded 40 tackles, 18 TFLs, 10 sacks, two fumble recoveries, and a blocked kick. Daxton recorded 73 tackles, 21.5 TFLs, and five sacks. Williams is committed to Minnesota State-Mankato.</li> </ul>   [player_tooltip player_id='796582' first='Max' last='Clark'], 2026 - Omaha North - South Dakota signee - <a href="https://x.com/max_clark10" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@max_clark10)</a>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Omaha North's [player_tooltip player_id='796582' first='Max' last='Clark'] was once again among the most productive linebackers in the state with back-to-back 100+ tackles in a season. Clark ended the year with 105 tackles, 10.5 TFLs, two sacks, and a forced fumble. Max has signed to play ball for the South Dakota Coyotes. </li> </ul>   Josh Thompson, 2026 - Papillion-La Vista South - Concordia commit   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Papillion-La Vista South's Josh Thompson emerged as one of the more disruptive players on a state runner-up defense. Throughout his senior season, Josh recorded 60 tackles, 13.5 TFLs, six sacks, four blocked kicks, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. Josh has committed to Concordia.</li> </ul>   [player_tooltip player_id='1105183' first='Harrison' last='Krueger'], 2026 - Wahoo - Augustana Commit - <a href="https://x.com/Krueger_Harry26" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@Krueger_Harry26)</a>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Wahoo's [player_tooltip player_id='1105183' first='Harrison' last='Krueger'] stamped an excellent prep career with another super productive senior year and his second state championship. Harrison led all of Class C1 with 136 tackles, nine TFLs, a sack, two interceptions, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.</li> </ul>   DBs:   [player_tooltip player_id='402156' first='Kaprice' last='Keith'], 2026 - Omaha Central - Kansas State Signee - <a href="https://x.com/KapriceKeith" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@KapriceKeith) </a>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Omaha Central's [player_tooltip player_id='402156' first='Kaprice' last='Keith'] formed arguably the top safety tandem in the state with fellow All-Stater Pittman III. Keith ended the year with 32 tackles, a TFL, and two interceptions. Reid ended the year with 71 tackles and six TFLs as the starting safety.
