Bridgeport’s Landon Dean Landon Dean 6'3" | 230 lbs | DL/TE Bridgeport | 2027 State NE is a super athletic prospect who projects best on defense but has the upside to also get looks at tight end. Landon had a very productive junior year in which he recorded 63 tackles, 14 TFLs, 14 sacks, four forced fumbles (one return for TD), 23 receptions, 418 receiving yards, 10 receiving touchdowns, and converted four 2-point attempts. Landon picked up his first offer from JUCO powerhouse in January.

Dean immediately stood out with his quick burst and explosive first step. He posted strong testing numbers, which consistently translated into individual drills and one on ones. Dean fired off the line with urgency, quickly getting on top of opponents and winning with effective swim and rip moves. His ability to generate early pressure made him difficult to contain throughout the day. Dean’s dominance from start to finish reinforced his status as one of Nebraska’s top prospects.

Dean made the trip from Bridgeport, Nebraska, and didn’t disappoint. Dean shined during the individual drills and 1 on 1’s against the offensive linemen. Dean has very good strength. He’s explosive out of his stance and has very good initial quickness to engage the OL. Very good bend. Very good hand placement and hand strength. Very good block shedding and get off speed. Dean has a very good swim move, and bull rush. One thing about Dean is his relentless pursuit. He doesn’t stop until the play is finished. I’m very impressed by this defensive end, and colleges should be as well.
