recently earned the crown of top-ranked in-state 2028 prospect after a great sophomore year and a rising recruiting profile. As a sophomore, Micah had 30 tackles, four TFLs, and a sack. The three-star prospect earned an offer from Florida State last fall and was re-offered by the new coaching staffs at Iowa State and Kansas State.

Here’s a prospect with the upside to eventually take over the top spot if he continues on this trajectory and has already started to garner collegiate attention. Bellevue West’s

turned some heads earlier this summer after earning his first Power 4 offer from Iowa State and is likely only getting started. Micah is a game wrecker on the defensive line who can dominate from the interior by clogging up run lanes and collapsing the pocket. Santiago has a sturdy frame for a defensive tackle at 6’2″, 300 pounds, playing with a strong base that makes him nearly impossible to move off his spot. Watching Micah’s tape I was impressed with his freaky fast get off that helps him fire out of his stance and generate a good push at the snap. He also does a good job of being violent with his hands to rip away from linemen. Tracks the ball very well while engaged with opponents. Micah also stood out with his tireless pursuit and insane motor. Big time prospect with even bigger upside!

, it’s hard not to see his combination of size, strength, and motor and not be intrigued in him as a prospect. In the clips available, you can see Micah shoot out of his stance and explode through his hands with a powerful initial strike. He also showed nice leverage and a strong anchor to help drive linemen off the ball. Santiago is a player to buy stock in now as he’s only going to continue developing and working out the raw aspects of his game.
