Now that we are well into the offseason, I can take a look ahead at some of the top statistical producers who will be back for the 2026 season.

First group I'm looking at are the gun-slingers. Here are the top passing yards leaders who are returning this fall.

Bennington's [player_tooltip player_id='433165' first='Ty' last='Bouaphakeo'] really took off this season, showing off not just what he can do with his arm, but also the damage he can do with his legs. The Badger's QB returns as the top passing yards leader for 11-man after completing 151 of 242 pass attempts (62%) for 2,439 yards and 30 touchdowns (7 ints). Bouaphakeo also rushed for 911 yards and 12 touchdowns on 159 carries. Ty is a strong-armed QB who shows the poise to sit in the pocket and deliver accurate strikes, or to extend plays and make great throws on the run. Bouaphakeo has an elite deep ball, combining range and accuracy, making him one of the more explosive passers in the state.

Teply completed 152 of 237 attempts (64%) for 2,362 yards and 27 touchdowns (5 ints) with a 126.2 QBR. Brockston is a tall, prototypical pocket passer who can calmly hang in the pocket and work through his progressions to find the open target. He does a great job identifying defenses and displays the touch to fit the ball into tight windows.

Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1630183' first='Dave' last='Stansberry'] was still able to put up impressive numbers as he navigated an up-and-down season for the Palmyra Panthers. Dave completes 144 of 282 pass attempts (51%) for 1,950 yards and 16 touchdowns (14 ints). Though Dave may be viewed as "undersized," he can offset that by getting the ball out quickly with quick, smart reads. Dave also showed he can extend plays outside of the pocket with his legs and hit receivers on the move.

Summerfield made significant progress in his development from his sophomore to his junior year, both physically and mentally. He seemed to be playing more relaxed and poised in the pocket, allowing himself to move through his progressions. Solid range with his arm, showing he can push the deep ball.

Braylen ended the season completing 125 of 202 attempts (62%) for 1,847 yards and 27 touchdowns (6 ints) with an additional 288 yards and three scores on the ground. Since stepping onto the scene as a freshman, Braylen has performed at a P4-caliber level, with a strong arm, high football IQ, solid footwork, and touch to deliver to all levels of the field. Warren has already announced his commitment to the Missouri Tigers and can now fully lock into what should be a great '26 Warriors campaign.

Preston connected on 108 of his 196 pass attempts, accumulating 1,818 yards and 18 touchdowns (10 ints). Komenda added 134 yards and two touchdowns as a runner with 36 tackles and two interceptions on defense. Komenda is a great overall athlete who is just starting to scratch the surface of his upside at QB. He maneuvers the pocket very well and delivers a catchable ball for his receivers. Good zip to fit the ball into tight windows.

Logan completed 117 of 214 passes for 1,804 yards and 14 touchdowns (5 ints). Grosdidier also showed he's a sneaky dual-threat who reeled off 360 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. Having watched Logan since his freshman season, it's clear that his arm strength, touch, and overall decision-making have greatly increased. Good placement on his passes allows his receivers to continue making plays after the catch.

Kade stands out with his size, at 6'3" and 180 pounds, with room to continue filling out his frame. Hudson also proved to be a force as a runner with 514 yards and eight rushing touchdowns.
