Fillmore Central’s Preston Komenda Preston Komenda 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB/ATH Fillmore Central | 2027 State NE is a very interesting athlete who is proving to be one of the more versatile prospects in this class. Komenda stepped in nicely in his first full season as QB1 for the Panthers after throwing for 1,244 yards, 242 rushing yards, 13 passing touchdowns, and four rushing touchdowns. Even with little varsity QB experience, Komenda flashed the arm talent and athleticism to project well to the next level. One thing that stood out the most from Preston’s tape was his ability to look off his first read and move through his progressions while making smart decisions about where to put the ball. He delivers a quick, accurate strike to his receivers and has some really impressive deep passes that he drops right in the bucket. You also get Komenda’s athleticism and speed, which makes him a threat to extend plays outside of the pocket or tuck it and run it himself. Could also receive some looks on defense.
