continued to flash the two-way star potential we’ve seen since the summer before his freshman season as he played a big role for the champion Patriots. Prince really impressed on defense, where he recorded 30 tackles and three interceptions (one pick-six) while also recording 400 receiving yards and five touchdowns on offense. Defensively, Prince possesses the size (6’3″, 180 pounds) and technique to project well as a cornerback at the collegiate level. He likes to be physical in coverage, using his lengthy frame to jam receivers at the line of scrimmage, and has the ball skills to make life difficult at the catch point. Great fluidity in coverage with the ability to make sharp changes in direction to him on the opposing receiver’s hip pocket. On offense, DaShawn displayed elite route running that allows him to create separation from defenders easily. DaShawn also flashed a nice burst after the catch that led to lots of big plays and made him a threat to hit the home run ball on any play. Prince’s ability to track the ball, especially on deep passes, and then elevate to attack the ball at its highest point was impressive. It’s hard not seeing DaShawn blowing up on recruiting boards with another big season.

https://twitter.com/DaShawn1213rnAlready receiving an offer from Nebraska his freshman year, Prince is starting to come into his own his sophomore season. The 6’3″ receiver, creates match up problems with his length and speed. Prince had 74 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns on the night. He put his full bag on display with sideline catches, slants in the middle of the field and high pointing balls in the redzone. Prince will be regarded as one of the best receivers in the state the next couple of years.
