The 6’5 187 pounder from Millard South is one of the better sizable route-runners I have seen thus far in this 2028 class as tthere’s a good reason for why he’s inside our top 20 overall in the class. Not only is Najee fluid on his routes, but you can quickly grasp at how sound his hands are when you watch him adjust to the football even when throws could be slightly offline for other wide receivers to adjust to, Najee’s length does him a favor. That length translates on both sides of the ball as at the cornerback position, those long strides come to fruition when he comes downhill or has to use his length downhill when tracking the football. Surely the translation in my eyes points to the wide receiver position due to the hands, but we’ll have to wait and see what the midseason tape looks like here soon.

Lincoln East’s Najee Brown Najee Brown 6'5" | 185 lbs | ATH Millard South | 2028 State NE is an interesting player to watch out for as he possesses next-level measurables and a ton of untapped potential. Najee saw varsity reps at receiver and defensive back, finishing the year with 19 catches, 215 receiving yards, two receiving touchdowns, 5 tackles, a TFL, a sack, two interceptions, and a forced fumble. At 6’5″ and 185 pounds, Najee could be a matchup nightmare with his elite length and ability to elevate when attacking the ball. His long strides help him to get vertical in a hurry. On defense, Brown fits the mold of the “modern” DB prospect, with a rangy frame and top-tier athleticism. I can see him play anywhere along the secondary, with a well-rounded skill set that lets him drop into coverage, defend the run, and (as shown by his sack) blitz the QB. Excited to see more from Najee this year!
