made it back-to-back seasons as the Bulldogs’ leading tackler on defense, and this time he also took on a bigger role on offense as well. Caysen ended his sophomore campaign with 84 tackles, 15 TFLs, eight sacks, an interception, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. The biggest thing that stood out from Caysen’s second year is that this time he added the splash plays like tackles for loss, sacks, and turnovers on top of his elite production. He is most effective when he’s allowed to pin his ears back and attack his gap, flashing a quick first step out of his stance and possessing solid speed to close on the ball carrier. Although he may be a bit “undersized,” Caysen outplays that label with a tireless motor and underrated strength that allows him to fight off blockers at the line of scrimmage. He also shows the ability to fluidly flip his hips and drop into coverage, where he showed his lateral quickness and instinctive ball skills. Caysen carried the ball 99 times on offense, totaling 506 yards and five touchdowns. Tough player who is only getting better!

had a big time breakout season in only his first year in the varsity ranks. Robertson led the Bulldogs’ defense with 106 tackles, four TFLs, three fumble recoveries, and two forced fumbles. Robertson plays outside linebacker, but I could see him developing into a solid safety prospect where he will still be a strong box presence while also being able to use his range and athleticism as an asset in coverage. Robertson’s IQ and quickness to read offenses help him make snap decisions and possesses the closing speed to get to the ball carrier on nearly every play. Caysen’s first step was very impressive on tape, especially when he decides to pin his ears back and rush the line of scrimmage, showing he can beat linemen at the snap by bending the corner to collapse the pocket and bring down the QB/ball carrier for a loss. Consistent tackler with good technique and power to secure the stop. Don’t sleep on this panhandle prospect with high upside!

Caysen caught my eye a lot during the individual drills. The linebacker from Nebraska had a journey over to CO, and it was well worth it. Robertson has very good acceleration, lateral agility, good speed, and jumping. During drills with the RB, he showed good ball tracking and athletic ability to cover the RB out in space. He was consistently watching the ball. He showed good quickness throughout and his coachability. It was worth the journey for Robertson, as he got more eyes on his play !

Robertson’s blend of speed and instincts made him one of the more versatile linebackers at the event. His footwork in drill work was clean, and he translated that into coverage during 3v2 and 7 on 7, using his vision to read plays and make breaks on the ball. He showed he can drop into coverage effectively, while in drills work still having the tools to attack downhill against the run. A true stock riser out of Nebraska.

, who had a super productive season. Caysen ended the year with 106 tackles, 4 TFLs, three fumble recoveries, and two forced fumbles. He is listed as an outside linebacker but seems to play a lot of slot/nickel DB and projects very well at DB. What stands out about Caysen when watching his tape is his aggressiveness and willingness to be physical despite being a freshman playing on the varsity level. He does an excellent job fighting off perimeter blocks when stepping up to help against the run. Robertson also displays great instincts and the ability to read opposing offenses quickly, as he’ll either spring downhill to plug up run lanes or flip his hips to drop into coverage. Solid speed, range, and balls skills.
