Harris was committed to Oklahoma but flipped to Washington on signing day.
He told Dan Albano of the OC Register that he decommitted from Oklahoma on December 1.
“It was mutual love,” Harris told the OC Register. “(The coaching staff) wanted me. Once I was able to see what they had planned out for me, it was somewhere that I couldn’t pass up on.”

Mater Dei receiver Marcus Harris Marcus Harris 6'1" | 175 lbs | WR Mater Dei | 2025 State CA announced his commitment to Oklahoma on Sunday.
Harris caught 43 passes for 644 yards with six touchdowns for Mater Dei last season.
He chose Oklahoma over 30 other schools that offered him including Alabama, Georgia and Michigan among others.
Harris is the first player from California in Oklahoma’s 2025 recruiting class.
