KJ moved from Hawaii Powerhouse Punahou HS to Bishop Gorman last year to improve his game and to win a national championship. Although the Hawaii Commit did not start last season KJ is in the running to have a dominate senior year and be a part of the best starting five in the country. The junior did well at the Polynesian Bowl Combine held at Bishop Gorman and has been continuing to improve this off-season.

Hallums kicked off 2024 by picking up an offer from Hawaii and committing on the spot in January. The Oahu-native is a strong, powerful IOL at 6’2”/280 with great upside at C. He moves his feet well to stay in front of oncoming rushers, delivers a loaded/compact strike, and can anchor down against bull-rushing DTs. He shows athletic versatility in his wrestling background. Hallums is one of the state’s premier centers heading into the 2024 season.
