Fia Taufa-Langi Fia Taufa-Langi 5'11" | 195 lbs | LB Bishop Gorman | 2029 State NV is already turning heads as the top linebacker in Nevada’s 2029 class, and it’s easy to see why. At a long and athletic 6-foot, 200 pounds, he pairs rare size with explosive burst and downhill aggressiveness that sets him apart from his peers. Taufa-Langi’s first step is elite, allowing him to quickly close creases and disrupt plays in the backfield, while his top-end speed gives him the range to chase ballcarriers sideline to sideline. What truly elevates his game, though, are his instincts — he diagnoses schemes quickly, stays square through traffic, and flows to the ball with a natural anticipation you don’t often see at his age. A rising national prospect who’s already earned a Division I offer from Arizona State University, Taufa-Langi projects as a future force at the next level thanks to his physical tools, on-field IQ, and consistent production against elite competition.

Taufa-Langi was a breakout defender for Bishop Gorman racking up 37 total tackles and 4 TFLs in ten games last season. The 5’11″/195 linebacker is a fast and physical defender that packs power and violence around the LOS. He showed his versatility attacking the backfield off the edge and possesses the range to make plays in space as an off-ball defender. He explodes downhill with a quick first step, shows his instincts diagnosing plays, and is an elite block shedder for his age. Taufa-Langi picked up his first offer from Arizona St. in January and should be in line to add many more in the near future.
