Gaoteote brings an impressive combination of size, instincts, and physicality to the linebacker position. He plays downhill with confidence, showing the ability to diagnose plays quickly and attack the ball carrier. His athleticism also allows him to move well in space and contribute in coverage situations. With several Division I offers arriving this offseason, Gaoteote’s recruiting momentum continues to build.

Gaoteote continued his rise for the Gaels defense as the top tackler in their run to another championship.

117 total tackles shows his elite tackling and good leverage in wrapping up backs. He also improved his coverage as he was able to line up against opposing teams top TEs.

But his incredible ability to sniff-out runs led to 17 TFLs. He is expected to have an even bigger senior season as Bishop Gorman seeks to continue their repeat championship run.

Gaoteote has reestablished himself among the state’s best linebackers after missing his sophomore season to injury. PRZ NV’s top-rated 2027 LB has racked up 83 total tackles and 9 TFLs in seven games this season. He’s an elite defender with the athletic and physical skillsets of a future three-down LB at the D-I level. He’s violent between the OTs, is comfortable playing in space, and is extremely quick to read-and-react to the football. Gateote picked up offers from UNLV and Hawaii after his freshman All-American season just two seasons ago and should continue to add to that list this offseason.
