Manning ranks as the top defensive back in PRZ NV’s first release of the 2029 rankings with the flashes of playmaking upside he showed in the Bishop Gorman secondary as a freshman. He’s a smooth cover-corner on the perimeter that can play physical in press-man at the LOS and operates with strong instincts in zone coverage. He has quick change-of-direction and shows his speed running downfield with receivers. Manning has drawn offers from Vanderbilt, Utah, Arizona, Kansas St., UNLV, and Cal Poly since January.

Bishop Gorman’s rising freshman defensive back flashed elite playmaking upside in the fall and has quickly put his name at the top of Nevada’s 2029 DB rankings. He’s a high-level athlete with all the speed, fluidity, and ball skills of a future D-I CB. He can match up in press-man on the outside, has the speed to run with receivers downfield, and can read eyes as a zone defender. Manning picked up his first pair of offers from Hawaii and Idaho in 2025.
