Committed to the University of Hawaii, his footwork is incredibly refined which makes him an elite weapon in the short passing game. He often gets his number called when the offense needs a screen because he’s so hard to bring down after getting the ball in his hands. Finishing his senior year with 48.1 yards a game, Gaea is going to make a real impact for a talented Bishop Gorman offense.

Gaea committed to Hawaii while on his official visit over the weekend. Hawaii- the first program to offer Gaea last May- is getting one of the top WRs in Nevada’s senior class. He possesses good size and speed, is physical with the ball in his hands after the catch, and should be highly effective as a possession-type receiver in the short-intermediate areas at the next level. Gaea picked up his second D-I offer from Portland St. a few weeks before his commitment.

After putting up over 400 yards during Bishop Gorman’s state championship run, I am confident Brandon Gaea Brandon Gaea 6'1" | 185 lbs | WR Bishop Gorman | 2025 NV is next in line to be a heavily recruited playmaker out of the Las Vegas powerhouse. He received some attention from Hawaii this fall, so be on the lookout for schools closer to Nevada to offer the versatile receiver next year. Brandon shows a good combination of size, strength, and toughness by consistently fighting through contact and finishing runs falling forward. Good length, balance, and athleticism shows adjusting to balls thrown overhead near the sidelines. Coaches like Brandon’s quick feet and next level burst shown creating space at the top of routes.

Brandon Gaea Brandon Gaea 6'1" | 185 lbs | WR Bishop Gorman | 2025 NV may be the fastest rising prospect on Bishop Gorman’s offense. Brandon received his first offer to the University of Hawaii earlier this month. He also has visited UCLA this spring. Don’t be surprised when Brandon’s recruitment starts to rival some of his fellow Bishop Gorman receivers.

Brandon’s explosiveness shows accelerating off the line of scrimmage, while next level top speed shows creating vertical separation versus off man coverage. Good quickness allows him to create after the catch in small spaces and highlights Brandon’s run after catch ability at the next level. Brandon’s strength allows him to run through contact at the top of routes; Good size, strength, and separation ability operating out of the slot give Brandon a big opportunity to boost his stock with more targets in 2023.
