Toler delivered his breakout performance of the season in a 55-28 bounce-back win over Orange Lutheran (CA). The senior transfer from Arizona recorded 5 catches for 125 yards and 4 total TDs in the winning effort. Toler showed his speed and explosiveness as an athlete breaking free over the top of the secondary on two explosive receiving TDs, and showed his quick-twitch skillset and agility as a route-runner creating space in the endzone. Look for Toler to build off this impressive performance and gather some momentum with his new offense as the Gaels start league play after a bye week.

With speed that not many players in the entire country can keep up with, Toler also happens to be built like a linebacker. I thought he did a great job with his route running throughout the entire weekend, even when he didn’t get the ball. Toler could often be found with a good step or three of separation while someone else was making a play.”

I thought he did a great job with his route running throughout the entire weekend, even when he didn’t get the ball. Toler could often be found with a good step or three of separation while someone else was making a play. I’m intrigued to see the different ways Highland’s offense can get Toler into space this season to wreak havoc on defenses.
